Bride

The daughter of Walter & Deloris Hall.  2001 graduate of Glen Oaks High School. Attended Southeastern & Southern University. 2008 graduate of Southern University School of Nursing. Employed at Woman’s Hospital for a total of 10.5 yrs. Worked five in a half years at the Child Development Center and five years as a NICU nurse. Currently working as a NICU UM/CM nurse at AHCLA .

I consider myself very laid back & down to earth. I love to laugh and can sometimes be a bit goofy. I have always enjoyed and had an attachment working with babies. I enjoy going to the movies; out to eat; traveling and hanging out with family and friends. My favorite food is pizza, steak (Ribeye) and I have a weakness for bread & sweets (especially turtle candy or cheesecake)! God has truly blessed me and continues to bless me. I am very humble and grateful for all of my wonderful blessings. One of my  favorite quotes is “Life is too short to be anything but happy”. Therefore, I try my best to enjoy every moment of “my life” and live it to the fullest!

Groom

The Son of Silas Rogers Sr. and Linda Rogers-Dixon. 2001 graduate of Glen Oaks High School.  Attended Southern University where I marched in the World renowned Human Jukebox for 4 years receiving awards and my completion wool jacket. I currently attend ABC School of Baton Rouge taking up Instrumentation in which I will complete in Dec 2015. I'm currently working at Total Petrochemicals in St. Gabriel, La for ISC as an Electrician Helper.

I consider myself as a laid back and easy to get along with person. For those who know me know that I can be pretty quiet at times until you get to know me and even then I still don't say too much, just enough to keep the conversation going...lol. I like playing video games, watching sports (football & basketball), putting things together, and now learning my new craft.  My favorite foods are red beans & rice, mac & cheese, fried pork chops, pizza, and Mississippi mud pie (only done by my Aunt Carolyn)...lol.

My favorite bible verse is John 3:16..."For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

God has truly blessed me over the years and I'm really glad he blessed me with a wonderful lady to be by my side forever!
