Bride

On December 25, 2013 was one of the best days of my life, but it was also one of my most nervous days. My day began with me working on a mandatory shift. I could not focus at work because this proposal was on my mind and it was driving me crazy. I had a little talk with my mom before this day to let her know I wanted to do it on Christmas day. I wasn’t sure what Katrina was gone say. I knew she really wanted to take her time with getting married and wanted to make sure that the guy she was with was the right one! So, I definitely was nervous going into this day. Katrina and I had Christmas dinner all prepared prior to Christmas Day because we knew I would be stuck at work. Therefore, by the time I got off all we had left to do was eat dinner and exchange gifts. Needless to say I decided to invite my mom and Mr. Willie over so I wouldn’t be so nervous but still got cold feet with them being there! About 5 or 10 mins after they arrived I asked them to leave. Lol.  Once mama & Mr. Willie was gone Katrina and I proceeded to do our gift exchange. My poor baby was feeling bad and was so sick that day; I was hoping that this would cheer her up a bit. I asked her was she ready for her gifts and she said yes and at that point she was sitting on the couch. I then proceeded to the traditional one knee and began to tell her how she has been nothing but a joy in my life and how she has made me so happy over the past few years we were together. I told her I wanted her to be my other half and couldn’t spend the rest of my life without her. I saw in her eyes that she began to tear up and cry, from that point I asked her to marry me with the ring.

SHE SAID YESSSSS!!!

I started tearing up myself and we hugged for about 5 to 10 mins and a lil kissing too( lol). I am glad that's a moment we shared together!  I love her so much!
